Yesterday, we did our first Discovery Learning lesson and activity. We started reading a book about a girl who was always perfect and never made mistakes. She learned throughout the book that it's okay to make mistakes, and she could learn from them. We will be applying the same thought to our Discovery Learning: we will make mistakes, and we will learn from them. This week's challenge was to build a perch for Harry, where he would be safe and could view the classroom. Students had to work together, solve the problem, create a solution and fine tune their creation after testing it out. They had a great time and Harry had his choice of some unique structures from which to view the class. Job well done!
